We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Redbridge to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Key Stage 1 for a September 2026 start on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their career within a supportive setting, where you will help pupils develop strong foundations in their learning, confidence, and a love of school.
The role:
- You will take responsibility for a Key Stage 1 class, delivering engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons that support pupils’ academic and social development.
- You will be supported by experienced colleagues and benefit from a structured ECT induction programme.
The school is looking for someone who:
- Has (or is on track to achieve) QTS
- Has a secure understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Is confident delivering phonics, early reading, writing, and maths
- Creates a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
