Overview
Are you a SEN HLTA with experience working with SEMH, SEBD, EBD students? Are you looking for a new challenge?
I am looking for an HLTA who can deliver the English curriculum to work at the APLE (Alternative Provision Lambourne End) site.
This pathway is for students who have difficulty engaging onsite at the PRU. Each morning you will arrive at the PRU in Newham and will be taken by minibus to the space at the outdoor centre, Lambourne End (RM6).
Responsibilities
- In the morning, students undertake lessons in English, Maths and Art. Then in the afternoons they engage with outdoor activities.
- Special needs HLTA will be required to have extensive experience covering a range of subjects to primary or secondary SEN students.
- This is an ideal position for someone who wants to gain more experience working within a special needs environment at a SEN school catering for children with complex needs, ASD and medical needs. If you have some SEN experience please apply. Special needs HLTA will need secondary or primary experience.
- Special needs HLTA will be committed to the development of both themselves and the pupils in their class.
- You must be able to deliver outstanding teaching and learning alongside a multi-disciplinary classroom for Special needs.
- Special needs HLTA will need experience of taking the lead in your subject area and have clear ideas of how to achieve exceptional progress for students.
