Are you an enthusiastic English Teacher with a passion for supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our specialist secondary provision, where every day offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. This is an exciting opportunity to teach and inspire students with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, PDA, OCD and ODD, in a supportive environment that prioritises individual progress, wellbeing and achievement.

About the Role

As an SEMH English Teacher, you will deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons to students on either a one-to-one basis or in small group settings. All students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), with Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) tailored to their individual outcomes and aspirations. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will create an inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, valued and empowered to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that meet the individual needs of learners with SEMH.
