This school is looking for an experienced Teacher of the Deaf to join their team working with pupils with hearing impairments. The school ideally would like someone with BSL Level 3 or higher and preferably a qualification in teaching e.g. QTS/PGCE or equivalent. The school would like someone who is able to work with children in a group setting. This is a long-term role starting in April with a potential to be a permanent position within the school.

This is a school of the deaf in Haringey, catering to 85 pupils between the ages of 3-16. The school is in a location that isn’t too close to a station, so the ability to drive is preferred. The school caters for pupils with hearing impairment needs, with pupils all communicating or learning to communicate through BSL.
