We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a primary school based in Willesden, North West London. As a Primary Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire pupils, develop essential skills and promote a positive attitude towards learning. You will adapt your teaching to meet individual learning needs, monitor pupil progress and create a safe, inclusive classroom where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet pupils' individual needs, abilities and learning styles.
- Create a safe, structured, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Promote positive behaviour, good learning habits and high expectations.
- Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, identifying areas for development and celebrating achievements.
- Use effective assessment strategies to inform planning and support continued progress.
- Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, resilience and a love of learning.
- Support pupils' literacy, numeracy, communication and wider academic development.
- Identify pupils who may require additional support and implement appropriate strategies.
- Provide an inclusive learning environment that supports pupils with SEND and EAL where required.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers.
