Cover Supervisor – The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students across the school and ensuring they remain on task during lessons.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 during teacher absences

Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and ensuring students understand the tasks set

Maintaining good classroom behaviour and applying the school’s behaviour policies

Keeping students focused, engaged and working productively

Supporting students with instructions and learning activities where appropriate

Managing the classroom confidently and responding to any issues that arise

Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress and any behaviour concerns

Following school policies and safeguarding procedures

Supporting the wider school team when required
