An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Process Developer within a busy and successful Process Development Team in Bristol focusing on Power Platform. Reporting to the Lead Process Developer, this role sits within IT Process Development which is a sub team within IT.
Your Role
- Development Work: Work as part of a Project Team in order to design, develop, test and release new processes on our Business Process Platforms. Work with Stakeholders from across the Business in order to design, develop, test and release amendments to existing process/applications on our Business Process Platforms. Work closely with our internal clients to analyse Business Requirements to enable the development of new and existing Business Processes, in order to increase efficiency. Review and as appropriate update applications built within our Business Process Platforms to ensure efficiency, quality, security and adherence to internal standards. Ensure new and existing Business Processes are documented to our high internal standards and handed over to relevant support teams. Develop and maintain reports and management information for both internal and external clients throughout our various platforms. As required, work with external software developers supporting, developing and testing system/applications which are owned by the IT Process Development Team but fall outside the Business Process Platforms.
- Team Working: Work as part of a self-managing Agile team following TLT's Scrum process. Work with teams across IT, when creating processes that integrate with other systems/applications.
- Standards: Work within the firm's internal change management procedures. Adhere to all internal development processes and standards. As required, complete system changes outside standard working hours to ensure continuity of service.
- Training / Support: Provide support and assistance to Business Users and IT Teams for our Business Process Applications and other IT Development Applications. Respond to requests quickly and efficiently while managing the expectations of our internal clients. Ensure less experienced Process Developers are trained and supported on our systems/applications. When requested, work as a buddy to assist with questions and provide guidance. Ensure they are fully trained on our internal standards to ensure quality of work. Ensure you remain driven and work to improve your technical knowledge by completing training.

- Experience or practical knowledge of Workflow and Business Process applications
- Experience working on an Agile team
- Practical experience and knowledge of JavaScript
- Practical experience in the development and amendment of T-SQL queries
- Analytical and methodical approach to working
- Experience working on projects and being an active member of a project team
- Driven and proactive
- Good communicator
- Experience of the following services would be an advantage: Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Power BI, Agile/Scrum and Azure DevOps, CSS / HTML / PowerShell
