We are recruiting for a Data Insights & Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Strategic Delivery team in Bristol. The Data Insights & Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for the production and analysis of reporting for the SLS operations. This role involves monitoring the performance of existing strategies and working with the Senior Operational Governance and Continuous Improvement Manager to support on identifying process improvement and implementing change and to inform the effectiveness of changes to strategy.

The Analyst will provide insight and commentary into key monthly and quarterly reports for teams and stakeholders, ensuring performance aligns with strategies and meets client and regulatory needs.

Your Role

  • Provide Management Information: Preparation of internal and external reporting and submission within required timelines. Ensuring accuracy of data.
  • Data Insight and Commentary: Provide insight and commentary based on MI produced, for teams and stakeholders regarding performance against strategies for the operations and client. To include the submission of papers for key stakeholders and formal governance committees for consideration or approval of operational changes and key strategic updates.
  • Resource Forecasting: Work closely with stakeholders in Operations and Customer Contact to develop and deliver forecasts including FTE blueprint and resource planning.
  • Financial Forecasting: Support operational requirements by liaising with teams to assist, monitor, track, and forecast departmental performance against agreed budgets, including associated reporting requirements.
  • Optimisation: Identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Process Analysis and Implementation: Support improvements and change initiatives through analysis of optimum processes through to implementation, following the defined change process.
  • Change Management: Monitor the performance of existing strategies and collaborate with the Continuous Improvement Lead to assess the effectiveness of changes to strategy.
  • Assist with key strategic priorities as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in reporting and analysis, preferably within mortgage litigation and repossession conveyancing operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to map processes and identify recommended approaches.
