We are recruiting for a Senior/Managing Associate to join our successful, national Property Litigation team. This is a full‑time position, based in Manchester or Birmingham, on a hybrid working basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious property litigator to develop their career as a senior member of our Chambers UK and Legal 500 ranked real estate litigation team.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of property litigation matters
- Provide an excellent service for clients across all of our key sectors, including public sector clients, local authority and government departments
- Supervise the work being undertaken by more junior team members
- Collaborate with the Partners in the team to look after our relationship with our key clients on a national basis and participate in business development initiatives
- Work with the team on a regional and national basis, to achieve key goals for the property litigation team and the firm
Skills & Experience
- A Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered)
- 6+ years PQE with experience handling property litigation matters with minimal supervision
- Experience of acting for clients in the public sector would be an advantage but not essential
- A creative, forward thinker, with proven analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be self‑motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
- A client‑focused approach with the ability to nurture long‑standing relationships
- Proven experience of supervising and/or managing junior team members
- The drive and ambition to succeed as a key senior component of the team at TLT, with the commitment to developing the firm’s offering locally and nationally and sharing our people‑focused values
