We are recruiting for an Apprentice Legal Project Co-Ordinator to join our busy Future Law team in Bristol.
As part of this role, you will be enrolled onto the Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship, delivered by BPP.
Over an 18-month programme, you will develop your project management knowledge, skills and behaviours through a combination of practical workplace experience, structured learning, workshops, webinars and coaching support.
Upon successful completion, you will achieve the Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship and have the opportunity to progress towards recognised professional project management qualifications.
This apprenticeship is designed to develop the skills required to support the planning, coordination and delivery of projects, while building experience in stakeholder management, project reporting, resource planning, risk management and continuous improvement.
Your Role
As a Legal Project Coordinator at TLT, you will provide essential operational support to Legal Project Managers and project teams, ensuring smooth execution of legal projects while gaining exposure to cutting-edge legal technology.
Your key responsibilities include
- Assisting the legal project managers with project and matter progress reporting to include engaging directly with the client as appropriate.
- Monitoring and reporting on scope and scope creep.
- Assisting the legal project managers to map, plan and manage resource and to map and design projects and project plans.
- Creating and amending Power Point presentations, Visio diagrams and workflows.
- Collating all relevant documentation required for new projects to include ensuring template documents are changed to include relevant details of the project.
- Maintaining LPM training guides, checklists, templates and other documents.
- Producing and amending, with speed and accuracy, complex documents such as proposals, tenders and reports.
- Setting up files, projects and matters.
- Track milestones and provide regular status updates.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and reports, and ensure follow-up on action items.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency through technology.
- Liaise with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders on project logistics.
- Maintain organized project documentation and audit trails.
- Stay current on legal technology trends and contribute ideas during team meetings.
- Your Skills and Experience
- Diploma or degree in Law (LLB preferred), Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable learning new software tools and technology platforms quickly.
- Excellent communication skills(written and verbal) with ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel (for data tracking and analysis), Word (for documentation), and Power Point (for reporting).
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
