The Communications Manager plays a vital role in delivering high‑quality internal communications that help colleagues feel informed, connected and aligned with TLT’s priorities. This is a delivery‑focused role that supports all colleague‑facing communications, helping translate business updates, strategic milestones and cultural programmes into clear, engaging content. Working closely with the Senior Corporate Communications Manager, you will manage day‑to‑day communications activity, including content creation, campaign delivery and channel management across TLT. You will deputise for the Senior Corporate Communications Manager as and when required. This role is being offered on a full time, fixed term basis of 12 months.
Your Role
- Internal Communications Delivery
- Plan, write and deliver engaging colleague‑facing content for firmwide announcements, campaigns and updates.
- Build and publish intranet articles, hubs and content using SharePoint/Atlas.
- Support communications for TLT 2030 milestones, major projects and transformation initiatives.
- Manage scheduling and flow of internal news to maintain clarity and avoid message saturation.
- Content Creation & Production
- Produce written, video and visual content aligned to firm priorities.
- Support the delivery of internal events such as town halls, leadership webinars and engagement sessions.
- Develop content that supports culture, wellbeing, ED&I and internal networks.
- Maintain and develop internal communication channels to ensure accessibility and engagement.
- Own the corporate communications (internal and external) editorial calendar and ensure timely, accurate delivery.
- Ensure all content adheres to TLT tone of voice, brand and editorial standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with colleagues across Marketing & Communications, business services and legal teams to support communication needs.
- Provide guidance and feedback on messaging and clarity to stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships and be a helpful, proactive point of contact for communication support.
- Measurement & Reporting
- Track channel performance and engagement through analytics and reporting.
- Recommend improvements to enhance reach, clarity and effectiveness.
Skills, Experience & Competencies
- Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills.
- Experience delivering internal communications in a corporate or professional environment.
- Confident using Microsoft 365 tools, particularly SharePoint/Atlas, Teams and video organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at pace.
- Creative, proactive and detail‑oriented working style.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build supportive working relationships.
- Experience in professional services or a multi‑site organisation.
- Experience supporting change communications.
