TLT are recruiting for an Associate to join our Real Estate team in Bristol. This role is offered on a flexible working basis and can accommodate full‑time or part‑time hours. This opportunity would suit a Real Estate lawyer with experience supporting clients in the infrastructure and transport sector.

Your Role

This role sits within the Investment and Asset Management team, which forms part of our wider Real Estate Group. The team acts for a wide range of public and private sector clients on acquisitions, disposals, investment, development and estate management. As a key addition to our growing team, you can expect to be:

  • Managing a range of real estate matters for major infrastructure clients, including acquisitions, disposals, investment, development and estate management, including transactions taking place within a regulated environment.
  • Working closely with our Infrastructure Planning team on property aspects of transport and infrastructure projects, including implementation of compulsory purchase powers.
  • Assisting on wider investment and asset management work across the team.
  • Supporting junior members within the team, such as Paralegals and Trainees.
  • Developing existing client relationships.
  • Assisting in the long-term growth and development of our Infrastructure sector and Real Estate offering nationwide.

Your Skills and Experience

You will be/have:

  • A Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered), approximately 1-4 PQE, with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Experience supporting major infrastructure clients on a wide range of real estate matters, including within a regulated environment.
  • A forward thinker, with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines.
  • Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development, and an appetite for keeping up‑to‑date with the latest developments in your practice area and sector focus.
  • An understanding of your client’s business needs, and act in the best interest of the firm and the client.
  • An ambitious and enthusiastic team player, able to support senior fee earners and contribute to our collaborative culture.
