TLTs bid team has a strong track record of winning new business from across the public sector using an efficient and structured process. A key part of the role entails managing public sector bids from central government departments to individual local authorities, developing compelling content and tailored solutions demonstrating expertise and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep knowledge of TLTs sectors and offering and why we are different by immersing yourself in our firm and understanding our services and clients.
- Responsible for completing the standard qualification information and due diligence requirements.
- Support the Bids Managers in liaising with internal subject matter experts to deliver legal and business services content in line with client requirements.
- Work with our Bids Managers to scope client requirements and complete the first draft of RFIs and RFPs using approved standard information and templates.
- Draft and edit written copy for specific bid questions in relation to service delivery/expertise and team experience.
- Capture and categorise best in class answers, experience, CVs, directory quotes, etc. for inclusion within our tender precedent library.
- Manage and update the tender management plan in line with delivery requirements and client timescales; proactively identify delivery risks and propose solutions to the Bids Manager.
- Collect and collate feedback from bids, providing clearly defined lessons learnt and actions for implementation.
- Support the creation of presentation materials for client interviews and presentations.
- Manage portal requirements to ensure all documentation is complete, accurate and submitted on time.
- Support with bids reporting and analysis.
Public Sector Insight
- Work with the Public Sector Business Development Team to develop, track bid progress (live and pipeline) to deliver the strategic business plan.
- Quarterly reporting, capturing and analysing bid feedback and lessons learnt, proposing content improvements and wider initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of supporting bids within the public and private sector, preferably within a professional services environment.
- Enthusiastic, confident, proactive, persistent and robust.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills – gains respect and credibility quickly.
- Excellent organisational skills – able to work at pace, multi‑task and has strong time management skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and drive through major projects to completion.
- Able to understand wider business issues and develop new ideas to add value to the Bids process.
- Good humoured and positive outlook.
- Graduate or equivalent.
