IT Process Developer
Opportunity within the Process Development Team in Bristol. Reporting to the Lead Process Developer and part of the IT Process Development sub‑team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and release new processes on our Business Process Platforms as part of a Project Team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to design, develop, test and release amendments to existing processes or applications on our Business Process Platforms.
- Analyze business requirements with internal clients to develop new and existing business processes, increasing efficiency.
- Review and update applications built within Business Process Platforms to ensure efficiency, quality, security and adherence to internal standards.
- Document new and existing business processes to high internal standards and hand over to relevant support teams.
- Develop and maintain reports and management information for internal and external clients across our platforms.
- Work with external software developers on system/application development and testing outside the Business Process Platforms as required.
- Team Working
- Work as part of a self‑managing Agile team following TLT's Scrum process.
- Collaborate with teams across IT when creating processes that integrate with other systems or applications.
- Standards
- Follow the firm's internal change management procedures.
- Adhere to all internal development processes and standards.
- Complete system changes outside standard working hours when required to ensure continuity of service.
- Training / Support
- Provide support and assistance to business users and IT teams for Business Process Applications and other IT development applications.
- Respond to requests quickly and manage expectations of internal clients.
- Train less experienced Process Developers and act as a buddy to provide guidance, ensuring they are trained on internal standards.
- Continuously improve technical knowledge through training and professional development.
Skills and Experience
- Experience or practical knowledge of workflow and business process applications.
- Experience working on an Agile team.
- Practical experience developing and amending T‑SQL queries.
- Analytical and methodical approach to work.
- Project experience as an active team member.
- Driven and proactive.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power BI, Agile/Scrum, Azure Dev Ops, CSS/HTML/Power Shell is an advantage.
