Role Description The Co Producer role at TLS Ventures is a part-time, remote position on an independent contractor basis. The Co Producer will focus primarily on fundraising responsibilities, including identifying prospective partners, preparing pitch materials, cultivating donor and investor relationships, and supporting negotiations in alignment with project goals. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with lead producers and creative teams, contributing to production planning and timelines, and ensuring that funding activities align with overall project strategy. The Co Producer will receive production credit for their work and participate in the long-term potential of the producer pool, including involvement in future projects, strategic planning discussions, and ongoing portfolio development. The role also includes documenting fundraising activities, tracking commitments, and providing regular progress reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Fundraising and development skills, including prospect research, donor/investor outreach, and relationship management.
  • Experience in production environments, with understanding of project lifecycles, budgets, and scheduling for creative or entertainment projects.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, including writing pitch decks, crafting proposals, and speaking with stakeholders in professional settings.
  • Organizational and project management skills, such as tracking tasks, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort working remotely and collaborating closely with colleagues in America and UK, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with basic financial concepts, such as ROI, cost projections, and funding structures, particularly in production or venture contexts.
  • Previous experience in film, theater, media, or related production industries is highly beneficial; prior fundraising or business development experience is a strong advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, arts management, communications, or a related field is preferred.
