Transport Planner/Road Planner – Southampton

Are you an experienced Transport Planner looking for a new challenge with a leading international freight and logistics company? TLP is partnering with a prominent company in Southampton to find a highly motivated and organised Transport Planner/Road Planner to join their dynamic team.

This is a great opportunity to play a key role in optimising haulage operations for a global leader!

About the Role

As a Transport Planner, you\’ll be instrumental in coordinating and planning the efficient movement of goods. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating essential information within the TOPS system and other critical platforms as required.

This is a full-time position, working 45 hours per week, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. The role is based on day shifts, Monday to Friday.

What We\’re Looking For

We need someone with a solid background in the transport and logistics sector.

Experience Required:

  • 2+ years of Container Transport Planning experience is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with the TOPS system.
  • Proven experience with Port and Depot VBS (Vehicle Booking Systems).
  • A Transport Manager CPC is preferred but not essential.

Skills:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
