Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a strategic role in expanding and optimising the transport network. This position is responsible for driving growth through fleet development, building scalable transport solutions, and forging strong internal and external partnerships. The role ensures operational excellence and cost efficiency across all transport operations, supporting business growth and enhanced customer service. Transport/ Network Development Manager – Responsibilities * Optimise and expand the companies national and regional transport network * Lead a dynamic transport team to achieve set goals * Improve fleet performance through continuous modernisation and low-emission integration * Create and ensure cost-effective transport plans to boost efficiency and reduce empty mileage * Managing supplier relationships and negotiating competitive contracts * Ensuring full compliance with UK/EU internal policies and transport regulations * Collaborating with internal stakeholders and align logistics strategies with business goals * Driving and delivering key transport projects and continuous improvement initiatives Transport Manager/ Network Development Manager – Requirements * Previous Pallet Network Operation Experience (Desirable) * CPC – Transport Management * Familiar with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet or similar) * Multi-site management experience * Proficient in both TMS and WMS systems * Change Management * Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
