Were now on the hunt for two Transport Operators to join our Felixstowe operations team people who know their way around a port, understand how to get the most out of an HGV fleet, and can keep cool when things get... well, container-shaped. Key Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily container collections and deliveries Manage HGV driver assignments, ensuring compliance with working time and transport regulations Liaise with ports, customers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely movements Track and monitor container movements using transport management systems (TMS) Optimise fleet utilisation and reduce empty mileage Respond to any operational issues and adapt plans as needed to maintain service levels What Were Looking For Previous experience in container-based road transport operations (essential) Strong working knowledge of UK ports (Felixstowe experience desirable) Familiarity with driver regulations and road transport compliance Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Confident communicator with good customer service approach Proficient with logistics software or TMS (training provided if needed) JBRP1_UKTJ
