Hybrid Working | Competitive Salary + Bonus

Location: Ipswich

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days remote / 3 days office-based)

Join a leading international construction company and play a key role in keeping its purchasing, stock and supply chain operation running smoothly. We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead a busy purchasing function, manage the team, oversee suppliers and ensure stock and imports are delivered efficiently and on time.

This is a hands-on management role working closely with Sales, Logistics and Product teams, ensuring purchasing strategy, stock levels and supplier performance support the wider business.

The Role:

  • Lead, manage and develop the Purchasing team
  • Oversee purchasing, stock control and import requirements
  • Manage supplier relationships, performance and negotiations
  • Monitor stock levels, planning and incoming shipments
  • Work closely with Logistics to coordinate transport, warehousing and stock movements
  • Analyse stock data and produce management reports
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and costs
  • Ensure ISO/AEO and company procedures are maintained
  • Support purchasing strategy and wider business objectives
  • Manage workloads, objectives, training and performance across the team

About You:

We are looking for a confident, experienced and personable manager with a background in purchasing, logistics, supply chain or transport. You’ll be:
