Plant Mechanic Required To join one of the UK\βs leading pant hire firms out of their Croydon site. You will be required to working on a variety of equipment including diggers, dumpers and small hand tools.
You will play a pivotal role in the success of the depot by ensuring that our client\βs customers can hire what they need, when they need it through the efficient servicing and maintaining a variety of plant and tools within the fleet.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults, repair and maintain a variety of plant including compressors, mini-excavators, dumpers, diggers, small tools etc, both on and off site when required.
- Check and tag all equipment and update service records
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products and full range of accessories
- Completion of all test certificates and associated paperwork
- Ensure customer Health & Safety rules are adhered to when on site.
- Ensure that the working environment is kept clean, tidy and compliant with H&S.
Requirements
- NVQ or similar in plant maintenance and repair
- 2 years minimum experience repairing and maintaining plant machinery
- Driving licence β Essential
