The Role
We are recruiting an experienced Trailer Technician / Workshop Technician to join a well-established fleet and asset rental business based in Southampton.
This is a hands-on trailer-focused role, carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs within a professional workshop environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out PMI inspections and routine servicing
- Completing Maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on trailers
- Working on brakes, axles, suspension and EBS / ABS systems
- Preparing trailers for MOT and ensuring roadworthiness
- Working collaboratively within the workshop team
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Trailer Technician, HGV Technician or Workshop Technician
- Strong mechanical knowledge of trailers and HGV equipment
- Experience in a fleet maintenance or workshop environment
- A safety-focused and reliable approach to work
Pay & Benefits
- Up to £40,000.00 basic salary
- Overtime paid at Time & ½
- £1000 Welcome Bonus
- 45 hours per week, Monday – Friday
