highly reputable and leading UK logistics and FMCG organisation
for an experienced
Change Manager
to play a key role in the launch of a new state-of-the-art distribution centre in Bristol. The role will oversee operations across
two sites in the Bristol area , working closely with site leadership, operational teams and wider stakeholders to deliver meaningful and measurable change across
people, processes, safety and performance . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Change Manager with a strong background in
FMCG, logistics, distribution or warehouse operations , particularly someone who has delivered complex change, continuous improvement programmes, site openings, transitions or operational transformations. Key Responsibilities Lead
change management, continuous improvement and operational excellence
across two sites in the Bristol area, working closely with site leadership, central teams and operational stakeholders. Support the successful launch and transition of a new distribution centre, ensuring change is effectively planned, communicated and embedded across people, processes and systems. Champion
health, safety, wellbeing and operational standards , including hazard walks, observations and ensuring a safe working environment for employees, agency workers and subcontractors. Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including site teams, central functions and the wider network, creating a collaborative culture where colleagues are encouraged to contribute ideas and drive improvement. Identify opportunities for improvement, using data and operational insight to develop and implement
measurable, business-led change . Drive continuous improvement, standardisation and best practice across the operation, ensuring processes are aligned with agreed standards and operational requirements. Lead cross-functional improvement sessions, root cause analysis and improvement initiatives, ensuring people and safety remain central to decision making. Maintain and improve operational methods and performance in line with account KPIs, while driving accuracy and efficiency across the warehouse operation. Ensure requirements relating to
health, safety, environment and quality
are fully implemented and escalate where required. Share best practice across the wider network and support the development of consistent operational standards. Key Requirements Significant
Change Management and Continuous Improvement
experience within FMCG, logistics, retail or distribution environments. Proven track record of leading
large-scale transformation projects
and delivering measurable operational improvements. Experience supporting a
new site opening, warehouse start-up or major site transition . Strong ability to analyse and translate data into actionable insights that influence business decisions. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence and challenge at all levels. Strong understanding of
warehouse operations within a fast-paced FMCG distribution environment . Experience driving continuous improvement programmes and embedding best practice across
people, processes and systems . Management-level operational experience is essential. Passion for creating a collaborative and inclusive culture where colleagues are empowered to contribute ideas and drive change. Lean, Six Sigma and/or Project Management qualifications
are desirable. Experience working with
Trade Unions
