TLP Recruitment is looking for HGV container drivers to join our customer\’s operation based at the London Gateway Port, this is an excellent opportunity with ongoing, steady work for the right candidates
- Night Hours – 1800 – 0500
- Day Hours – 0500 – 1600
Job Duties:
– Shunt containers around the LGW port between different sites/ports as and when required.
– Bring back empty containers to london gateway port
– Safely conduct pre-trip checks on all containers, and ensure all twistlocks / seals are secure.
– Work to time schedules determined by VBS booking slots.
– ensure all road safety laws are adhered to while working.
Requirements:
Must hold a valid UK driving license
Must be able to communicate via a radio system effectively
Punctual, reliable & trustworthy
Excellent communication skills
Comply with the strict Drug & Alcohol testing requirements
Pay Rates:
CE License holders –
£17ph (Days) / £18.50ph (Nights)
