Branch Manager Required to join a UK leading, international multimodal freight logistics provider at their site based in Southampton. Reporting to the Divisional General Manager / Divisional Director, you will play a critical role in taking the branch from its infancy level through to its next stage of success through maintaining business that exists and through commercial activities as well as recruitment of Business Development staff. Responsibilities:
  • Be hands on and lead the branches ocean and air freight operations.
  • Oversee and manage day to day operations, ensuring compliance and legislation is adhered to at all times.
  • Hold full P&L responsibilities, ensuring the correct management of this.
  • Budget management and reporting.
  • Lead recruitment drives as and when required.
  • Maintain and develop on current business opportunities.
  • Close management of staff within the branch, ensuring support is being provided when required.
Requirements:
  • Fully versed in air and ocean operations - Essential
  • Previous management experience - Essential
  • Excellent team management capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
