We are currently recruiting for flexible Class 1 Drivers to join our client’s busy container transport operation in Southampton. This role offers genuine flexibility, allowing you to tailor your working pattern to suit your needs.
About the Role:As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering and collecting containers from various locations.
- Operating Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring all container movements are completed accurately and on time.
- Adhering to all relevant traffic laws and company procedures.
- Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- A valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
- A valid Driver CPC qualification.
- A digital tachograph card.
- A valid DP World card (essential) we can assist with this if you do not have it.
- Previous experience in container transport is beneficial but not always essential.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- A responsible and professional attitude.
- Starting salary of £14.50 per hour.
