Required to join a UK leading, international multimodal freight logistics provider at their site based in Southampton. Reporting to the Divisional General Manager / Divisional Director, you will play a critical role in developing new business at a crucial stage of growth for this branch, for their air and ocean freight services. Responsibilities:
- New Business Development for the company’s air/ocean freight services.
- Prospect for potential new clients, develop and ultimately close the business.
- Cold call as appropriate within your geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Identify potential clients, and the decision-makers within the client organisation.
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Arrange Meetings with prospective clients.
- Plan approaches and pitches.
- Develop proposals that meet the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Client Retention.
- Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships with clients.
- Work with internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client Meetings.
