A leading plant and tool hire provider is seeking a proactive and experiencedWorkshop Foremanto take charge of operations at their busy Bournemouth depot. You’ll be responsible for managing the workshop team, ensuring timely repairs and servicing of hire equipment to the highest standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading and supervising a team of workshop fitters and engineers
- Scheduling and prioritising repairs, servicing, and inspections of plant and tool hire equipment
- Carrying out hands-on diagnostics and repairs when needed
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
- Managing stock levels and parts ordering
- Ensuring equipment is returned to hire-ready standard quickly and efficiently
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar role (Foreman, Lead Fitter, Senior Engineer etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of plant/tool hire equipment
- Confident leader with the ability to mentor and motivate a team
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- A flexible and positive attitude
