A well-established manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Lead Operator to join their production team. This is a hands-on role, supporting daily operations while leading by example on the shop floor. You will play a key part in ensuring production targets, quality standards, and health & safety requirements are met across rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support production operators during shifts
- Monitor production output, quality, and performance
- Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times
- Carry out basic machine checks and troubleshooting
- Complete production paperwork and shift handovers
- Support training and guidance of team members
- Escalate issues to supervisors or management when required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience as a Lead Operator, Senior Operator, or Team Leader preferred
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Good attention to detail and quality awareness
- Comfortable working rotating shifts
- A hands-on, reliable approach
