TLP are recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to work with our customer on a busy air freight contract out of Heathrow airport. You will be working with a customer with an exceptional reputation across the UK.
Role:
- Operate the HGV vehicle safely and efficiently to transport freight to various locations across the UK
- Ensure timely delivery of trailers while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with the operator regarding any issues encountered
- Safely and efficiently navigate UK airports to collect freight.
- Monday to Friday deliveries, with optional weekend work
Pay:
- Day shifts – Basic £19ph, with shift premiums of £21.71ph
- Holiday pay paid additionally to the above rates
- All shifts attract a minimum basic 8 hour pay
Requirements:
- Held a Class 1 License for at least 6 months
- Valid CPC and Tacho card
- No more than 6 points (No DD, DR, IN endorsements)
- Attend and complete a customer induction/assessment
