Working closely with the Technical Director, you will manage Solar PV and Battery Storage projects from survey and design through to installation, commissioning and handover.
This role would suit someone who is an Electrical Designer who has maybe had their own business and now wants to get off the tools.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate Solar PV and Battery Storage installationsReview surveys, designs and quotationsCoordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and materialsMonitor project costs, programmes and profitabilityEnsure projects meet MCS, BS 7671 and company standardsManage DNO applications and project handoversLiaise with clients and attend site meetingsSupport the continued growth of the Solar divisionAbout YouExperience in Solar PV, Battery Storage or electrical project delivery5+ years' experience in solar stringing system designStrong electrical contracting backgroundExcellent project management and organisational skillsCommercially aware with strong attention to detailConfident managing multiple projects and stakeholdersFull UK driving licenceMCS knowledge desirableSolarEdge, PV Sol or Reonic experience desirableMandatory QualificationsDue to end-client requirements, you MUST hold current/in-date: Full Electrical Qualification (Gold Card or equivalent)Solar PV qualificationEESS xgikmsk qualificationQualifications must be through C&G, BPEC, LCL or EALExpired qualifications will not be accepted.
