As part of the growing team here at TLI Group, we are seeking a Quantity Surveyor Graduate to join the team based in our Tralee or Cork office. The Graduate will work under the supervision of the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager, and mentoring will be provided. TLI Group are an industry leader within the utilities sector. We design, build and maintain vital services, connecting people on behalf of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working under the direction of Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Assist in valuing project Revenue & Subcontractor accruals on a weekly basis and reporting to accounts for compilation of profit and loss reporting in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist in compiling and submitting Payment Applications
- Assist in compiling and agreeing monthly subcontractor payment
- Assist senior commercial team in collating and preparing weekly Profit and loss reports
- Assisting with setting up of Subcontracts and on-boarding of Subcontractors
- Assisting in formation of budgets, labour / plant / vehicle allocations, productivity metrics and management provisioning for secured works at contract award and at handover stage for incorporation into the business plan
- Work with the Senior Managers to ensure that projects spend costs are in accordance with the tender prices submitted and forecasts
- Miscellaneous other Commercial Functions
Qualifications and Skills:
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent QS qualification
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (in particular MS Excel)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and planning skills
- Full, clean driving licence and flexibility to travel as required
