The Leon Group are recruiting professional and reliable Taxi Marshals to support the safe operation of Stafford Town Centre’s nighttime economy. This role is ideal for experienced security staff who are confident working with the public, managing queues, assisting vulnerable persons, and helping maintain a safe environment during busy weekend periods.

Location: Stafford Town Centre

Shift Pattern: Saturday Nights. 21:30hrs – 04:30hrs. Additional Bank Holiday and event shifts may also be available.

Duties Include:

  • Managing taxi queues and passenger flow.
  • Assisting vulnerable persons and lone females.
  • Monitoring licensed Hackney Carriages.
  • Preventing disorder and conflict.
  • Working alongside CCTV, Police, Street Pastors and Stafford Borough Council.
  • Monitoring for illegal plying for hire.
  • Maintaining accurate incident and operational reports.
  • Patrolling town centre areas when required.

Requirements:

  • Valid SIA Licence.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong conflict management skills.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Experience in security, stewarding or public-facing roles preferred.

Uniform: High visibility Taxi Marshal jacket provided.

Pay: Competitive rates discussed at interview.
