The Front of House team is the face of Bank de Leon, responsible for delivering exceptional service and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all guests. As a Front of House Team Member, you will ensure every customer has a positive experience from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional attitude, and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience: Greet all guests warmly upon arrival, maintaining eye contact and a polite, friendly manner. Create a positive first impression and ensure guests feel welcomed and comfortable. Assist customers with seating arrangements and manage smooth table flow. Thank guests sincerely before departure to ensure a lasting positive impression.
- Service & Operations: Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring all special requests and dietary requirements are clearly noted and communicated. Deliver food and beverages promptly and in line with service standards. Ensure customers have everything they need throughout their visit, providing attentive and friendly service. Assist with managing reservations and walk-ins to optimise seating arrangements. Support baristas and service staff as required to maintain efficient operations.
- Payments & Systems: Operate the till system confidently and accurately. Process cash, card transactions, and tips responsibly in line with company procedures. Maintain accuracy and accountability in all financial transactions.
- Cleanliness & Organisation: Ensure dining and bar areas are clean, tidy, and fully prepared for service at all times. Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently between guests. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all front of house areas.
- Health, Safety & Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times. Follow company policies regarding food handling and allergen awareness. Report any incidents, hazards, or concerns promptly to the Front of House Manager.
- Teamwork & Communication: Work closely with kitchen staff and team members to ensure smooth service. Communicate clearly and efficiently to relay customer requests, feedback, or issues. Support colleagues during busy periods and assist with tasks as needed. Maintain calm, confident communication at all times.
- Service Standards: Front of House team members at Bank de Leon are expected to: Maintain eye contact and deliver polite, professional greetings. Communicate calmly and confidently. Provide proactive assistance without hovering. Remain attentive, approachable, and composed during busy periods. Uphold a clean, organised, and welcoming environment.
