We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a growing team delivering high-quality commercial projects across Bristol and the South West. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional looking for long-term contract work across a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from 2 million to 5 million in mechanical value.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all mechanical installation works on site
- Manage subcontractors and site operatives to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
- Monitor progress and provide updates to the Mechanical Site Manager, Project Manager, and Contracts Manager
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures, RAMS, and site standards
- Conduct quality inspections and oversee snagging and close‐out activities
- Coordinate labour, materials, and plant to ensure efficient project delivery
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Maintain accurate site records and reports
- Promote high standards of workmanship and productivity across all mechanical packages
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within commercial fit‐out or building services projects
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC, pipework, plant rooms, and mechanical building services installations
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience supervising subcontractors and coordinating multiple work fronts
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and project programmes
- Valid CSCS card
