We are currently seeking an experienced NG Authorised Electrician/Wireman to join our team working on high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out electrical fitting activities on high-voltage switchgear, transformers, and associated equipment.
- Installation of control and protection equipment.
- Installation and testing of earthing systems.
- Installation of outdoor substation equipment, including busbars, disconnectors, and switchgear.
- Maintenance of high-voltage electrical equipment.
- Fault finding on both low-voltage and high-voltage systems.
- Receiving and working from high-voltage documentation and permits.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards and procedures.
Essential Requirements
- NG Authorised Person certification.
- Proven experience working on high-voltage electrical installations and maintenance.
- Manual Handling certification.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and industry regulations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
