TLG Infrastructure are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team on a civil engineering project involving earthworks, ground stabilisation and associated infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out setting out and surveying duties using GPS, total stations and other site equipment
- Interpret drawings, specifications and design information
- Establish control points, levels and coordinates across the project
- Manage and implement Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures
- Maintain accurate site records, as-built information and setting-out data
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments and inspection test plans (ITPs)
- Liaise with site management, subcontractors and the client's representatives
- Monitor works to ensure compliance with design, specifications and tolerances
- Assist with technical queries and problem solving on site
- Support daily site operations and programme delivery
Requirements
- Degree/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Proven experience in setting out for civil engineering and earthworks projects
- Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and documentation
- Competent in the use of surveying equipment and software
- Knowledge of ground stabilisation techniques (desirable)
- Good communication and organisational skills
- CSCS card (or equivalent)
