Requirement: Head of Bid Management

Location: Nottinghamshire

Package: £80000 - £90000 + Bnes

Responsibilities

  • You will be managing the pipeline of sales and bidding performance.
  • You will develop and deploy a team of 4 expert bid resources to ensure we secure contracts in line with our business plan.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the department and its processes.
  • Ensure all tenders follow the governance process.
  • Manage lines of communication with the client procurement teams.
  • Communicate the bid pipeline with key internal stakeholders, to ensure all bids are resourced effectively.
  • Manage library of bid management content.
  • Comply with all relevant company policies and procedures, and ensure you lead by example with regards to the businesses values.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Background in a construction / utility-based sector.
  • Experience with NEC contracts.
  • A minimum of five years experience in bid management.
  • Proven experience in managerial positions.
  • Able to multi-task and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Robust skills in Microsoft office software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Degree qualified (not essential).
  • Ability to communicate confidently and concisely about products or services.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent bid writing and proof reading skills.
  • Able to travel when required.
