My client is a leading Tier 1 M&E contractor with a 50-year history and a £500 million turnover. They have a strong reputation for delivering high-profile projects across commercial offices, healthcare, and education. Despite their size, they are known for excellent staff retention, employee development, and strong internal training programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing designs for scope gaps and clashes
  • Short-term programming
  • Ensuring Health & Safety compliance (RAMS)
  • Preparing and submitting technical documentation
  • Issuing and managing RFIs
  • Coordinating subcontractors
  • Overseeing commissioning stages
  • Liaising with client teams, main contractors, and subcontractors
  • Conducting progress meetings with subcontractors, professional teams, and the client

Ideal Candidate:

  • Progressed from a tools background with strong technical knowledge of mechanical services
  • Experience in the commercial sector
  • Proven ability to manage projects worth at least £2 million within their discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a management role
  • Happy to work a mixture of days and nights
