We are representing a well-established, privately owned M&E contractor with a turnover of circa £100m, delivering technically complex projects across the commercial fit-out and design & build sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint a Mechanical Construction Manager to support delivery on high-profile Central London projects.

The Role

Reporting into the Project Manager/Project Director, you will take responsibility for the mechanical package on-site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard of quality. Projects are typically commercial fit-out schemes with M&E values up to £20m.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and coordinating all mechanical site activities
  • Managing subcontractors and direct labour on a day-to-day basis
  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and project milestones
  • Driving health & safety compliance across site (RAMS, permits, etc.)
  • Working closely with design and commercial teams to resolve technical and coordination issues
  • Monitoring quality of installation and ensuring compliance with specifications
  • Supporting commissioning and handover processes
