We're working on behalf of a well-established, privately owned M&E contractor with a turnover of circa £100m, delivering high-quality projects across the commercial fit-out and design & build sectors. With a strong pipeline of secured work in Central London, they are now looking to appoint an experienced M&E Project Director to join their senior delivery team.
This is a key leadership role within the business, responsible for overseeing multiple projects (typically up to three at a time), each with M&E values of up to £20m.
The RoleAs M&E Project Director, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from Stage 3 design through to practical completion. You will lead and coordinate full site teams, ensuring programmes, budgets, quality, and client expectations are consistently met.
Key responsibilities include:- Managing multiple live commercial projects simultaneously
- Leading project teams including Project Managers, Engineers, and site-based staff
- Overseeing programme delivery, commercial performance, and risk management
- Driving coordination from design development through to installation and handover
- Acting as the key client interface and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
