TLG Infrastructure are recruiting for a Setting Out Engineer to work for a leading Civil Engineer contractor on a contract basis.
The right person will ideally have experience setting out for drainage, groundworks and earthworks.
Responsibilities
Read and understand construction drawings.
Set out drainage lines, manholes, kerbs, and earthworks.
Mark excavation lines and formation levels.
Check ground levels and site measurements.
Use surveying equipment such as a total station, GPS, and automatic level.
Ensure drainage and earthworks are completed to the correct line and level.
Record survey data and site measurements.
Report any drawing or site discrepancies.
Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, and machine operators.
Follow health and safety procedures on site.
