We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Tier 1 M&E contractor for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their team working permanent night shifts at Heathrow Airport. Our client is a major M&E contractor with a 50-year history and an annual turnover of approximately £500 million. They have an excellent reputation for delivering complex, high-profile projects and are known for their strong staff retention, employee development, and internal training programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor looking for a long-term position working within one of the UK's most complex and high-profile environments.

The Role

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works during night shifts
  • Review designs and drawings to identify scope gaps and potential clashes
  • Manage short-term programmes and ensure works remain on schedule
  • Ensure full Health & Safety compliance, including RAMS
  • Prepare and manage technical documentation
  • Issue and manage RFIs
  • Coordinate subcontractors and site teams
  • Monitor quality and progress of electrical installations
  • Oversee testing and commissioning activities
  • Liaise with client teams, main contractors, subcontractors, and professional teams
  • Attend and conduct progress meetings where required
  • Provide clear handovers and progress updates to the wider project team

Ideal Candidate

  • Progressed from an electrical tools background with strong technical knowledge of electrical building services
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor within the commercial or building services sector
  • Experience working on complex, high-value projects
  • Proven ability to manage electrical packages valued at £2 million or more
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience within a supervisory or management role
  • Comfortable working permanent night shifts
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Previous airport experience would be advantageous but is not essential
