Overview
Requirement: Planning Manager (Substations or Electrical transmissions)
Location: Southwest & South Wales
Package: 80,000 - 90,000 + bens
Responsibilities
- You will be managing the production of robust and detailed programmes for all works associated with the design, procurement and construction phases of our substation projects, ensuring the team liaise with the Project/Construction Manager and Site Engineers to ensure that the programme keeps abreast of any changes.
- You will be managing and coordinating the production of detailed trackers that can substantiate progress measurements on a regular basis and retain these for analysis on future bids.
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience in planning major projects within a high voltage environment
- Knowledge and experience with national grid substations
- Experience managing a team
- Experience working with P6 Primavera
- Experience with NEC contracts
- A full UK Driving licence
- Able to collaborate, influence and deal with people at all levels including Executive Directors
- Proven track record of delivering change and implementing strategic initiatives
