TLG Infrastructure are recruiting for a Senior Site Engineer to work for a leading contractor in London on a 62 week contract.
Our client delivers specialist redevelopment schemes in London involving structural alterations, new RC/steel structures, demolition and basement construction.
Responsibilities
- Lead site engineering activities for demolition, temporary works, and underpinning operations.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and in accordance with drawings, specifications, and approved methodologies.
- Manage quality assurance through Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Inspection Requests (IRs), hold points, and quality records.
- Inspect and verify demolition sequencing, underpinning excavations, reinforcement, formwork, and concrete works.
- Raise, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and implement corrective actions.
- Verify material approvals, test results, and compliance with project specifications and British Standards.
- Carry out setting out, survey verification, and as‑built records (minimal setting out).
- Coordinate with designers, temporary works engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and testing laboratories to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor structural movement, temporary works, and critical construction stages.
- Maintain accurate QA documentation, site records, and handover dossiers.
