TLG Infrastructure is recruiting for a Setting Out Engineer to work for a leading Civil Engineer contractor on a contract basis.
The right person will ideally have experience setting out for drainage, groundworks and earthworks.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand construction drawings.
- Set out drainage lines, manholes, kerbs, and earthworks.
- Mark excavation lines and formation levels.
- Check ground levels and site measurements.
- Use surveying equipment such as a total station, GPS, and automatic level.
- Ensure drainage and earthworks are completed to the correct line and level.
- Record survey data and site measurements.
- Report any drawing or site discrepancies.
- Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, and machine operators.
- Follow health and safety procedures on site.
