The role
tldraw is hiring a content-focused product marketer to help us explain what we do to a broader, non-technical audience and drive leads. You will own how we tell our story beyond the developer community. That includes writing, shaping our voice, and building a consistent content pipeline across blog and social channels. This role sits at the intersection of writing and visual storytelling. Alongside articles and case studies, you’ll help create simple, clear visuals that show how tldraw works and why it matters. This is a new role with strong ownership. You’ll work closely with our founder, product, and customers to turn what we’re building into clear, compelling stories. This is a London-based role with 4 days per week in our office and 1 flexible day working from home.
You will:
- Build and run tldraw’s content pipeline for non-technical audience
- Write articles for our blog explaining what tldraw is, why it matters, and how it’s used
- Develop customer case studies that clearly show real-world use cases and value
- Translate product launches and features into accessible, engaging content
- Own our presence on X and LinkedIn, including posting, repurposing content, and celebrating product and customer moments
- Create simple visual content to support storytelling, such as gifs, diagrams, or lightweight infographics
- Work with our founder, engineers, and customers to source ideas and material for content
- Maintain a consistent voice and standard across everything we publish
- Track how content performs, with a focus on reach, engagement, and how it drives people to explore tldraw and start trials
- Experiment, measure, and scale new channels
You’ll need:
- 2–5 years of experience in content, editorial, journalism, marketing, or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills with a clear, structured style
- The ability to make complex ideas simple, without making them boring
- Experience building or contributing to a content pipeline (blog, editorial, or similar)
- Curiosity about how products work, and the instinct to ask “why does this matter?”
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with a high degree of ownership
- Good taste in writing. You know when something feels right, and when it doesn’t
- Experience creating content that drives measurable engagement
It’s a plus if you:
- Have a background in journalism, editorial, or copywriting
- Have worked in a startup or product-led company
- Have experience writing customer stories or case studies
- Have experience creating visual content (e.g. gifs, diagrams, infographics)
- Have managed social media accounts for a brand or publication
