Our innovative solutions support aircraft from small general‑aviation types up to wide‑body airliners, with our equipment deployed across 60+ countries.
Position Summary: As a Product Support Engineer, you will develop and implement design solutions for products in the field and support technical inquiries by the sales and service organisations. Your missions will consist of:
- Support field technicians by troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
- Answer technical inquiries from outside sales offices.
- Review complex customer technical specifications for tender compliance.
- Perform root cause analysis and maintain statistical data for investigations of reported product deficiencies.
- Write technical service bulletins for field implementation.
- Monitor product demerit claims and liaise with project engineers and test technicians to develop solutions for customers.
- Develop and monitor test procedures consistent with design criteria for field use.
- Provide technical and design related feedback from sales and service to project engineers.
- Submit engineering change requests for the purposes of improving product design.
- Assist in writing and maintaining product technical manuals and datasheets.
- Assist in coordinating technical training for service technicians and customers.
- Occasional national and international travel to assist with field issues.
- Adhere to standards and procedures in the pursuit of ISO 9001.
- Maintain currency with respect to technical skills by attending training classes, technical courses, seminars, exhibitions, and trade shows as needed.
- Other assignments as designated by Department Manager.
