POSITION SUMMARY
The Test Engineer is responsible for testing new systems within a dedicated testing area as well as printed circuit boards (PCB) prior to their installation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bench test printed circuit boards using an oscilloscope and multimeter, recording values within defined tolerances.
- Pre-test inspections to confirm new equipment is safe to energise.
- Test new equipment and record values within defined tolerances.
- Troubleshooting of new equipment when measured values are outside of the specified tolerance.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Other assignments as designated by the Production Manager.
