Block Management Intern

Our Block Management internship is designed to provide a genuine insight into how residential developments are managed within one of London's most sought after property markets. Whether your interest lies in building maintenance, health and safety compliance, contractor coordination, client relationships or property operations, this internship will provide a practical understanding of the skills, standards and processes required to successfully manage residential blocks and developments.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assisting with the day to day management of residential blocks and developments
• Supporting communication with leaseholders, residents, freeholders and contractors
• Learning how building maintenance issues are reported, coordinated and resolved
• Assisting with health and safety compliance, inspections and statutory requirements
• Maintaining and updating block management systems and property records
• Supporting the coordination of contractors, quotations and planned maintenance works
• Assisting with research, reporting and business improvement projects
• Observing how our Block Management, Accounts and wider Operations teams work together to deliver exceptional service

Previous property experience is not required. We are far more interested in attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Practical Information

• Location: Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea
• Hours: A minimum commitment of 20 hours per week is required. Interns can work more than this where mutually agreed, and working patterns can be discussed depending on university, study or other commitments.
• Duration: A minimum commitment of six weeks is required to ensure sufficient exposure to the business and a meaningful learning experience.
• Expenses: This is an unpaid internship. We reimburse reasonable daily expenses of up to £15 per day.
