As we continue to grow globally, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic Finance team that are based in our London HQ. For this role, we're open to considering candidates that are based in Swansea and can work from our hub there or work remotely from another location such as Wales, the Midlands or North of England.
What you'll be doing:
- Accounts Payable Operations
- Process, review, and verify invoices for accuracy, approvals, and compliance.
- Ensure timely vendor payments while optimizing cash flow.
- Reconcile AP transactions and resolve discrepancies proactively.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation for audits and compliance.
- Process Improvement & Optimization
- Identify and implement automation tools to streamline invoice processing.
- Standardize workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve AP procedures.
- Continuously assess and refine AP strategies using performance data.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Handle payment inquiries and track vendor performance.
- Ensure contract terms are met and resolve issues with internal teams.
Who we're looking for:
- Proven experience in accounts payable operations and process improvement.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and financial software (Microsoft ERP experience is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within an international group.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with workflow optimization and AP automation tools.
